Earning a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology has brought me a wide range of benefits and opportunities for personal and professional growth.  
 

  1. Advanced Expertise: This degree has given me a  deep and comprehensive understanding of instructional design theories,  principles, research methods, and emerging technologies. 
  2. Research Skills: This degree has emphasized  rigorous research methodologies, allowing me to design and conduct high-quality research studies. The skill set enables me to contribute to the scholarly discourse in instructional design, technology-enhanced      learning, and related areas.
  3. Innovation and Creativity: The program has encouraged me  to push the boundaries of instructional design, fostering creativity and innovation in designing effective and engaging learning experiences.
  4. Thought Leadership: I will have the opportunity to publish research papers, present at conferences, and influence the direction of the field.
  5. Consulting and Expertise: With this degree, my advanced      knowledge will open doors to consulting opportunities and exciting permanent positions to guide the development of effective training programs and learning solutions.
  6. Research and Development: Many organizations invest in      research and development for learning technologies. With this degree, I can contribute to designing and evaluating cutting-edge tools and      platforms.
  7. Problem  Solving: My advanced training equips me      with the skills to analyze complex educational challenges, design innovative solutions, and drive meaningful improvements in learning outcomes.
  8. Networking: This degree has also allowed me to connect with fellow scholars,     researchers, and professionals in the field, building a solid network that can lead to collaborations, partnerships, and ongoing learning      opportunities.
  9. Contribution to Society: My research and work in      instructional design have the potential to positively impact education and training on a larger scale, influencing teaching methods, learning      experiences, and educational policies.
  10. Personal Fulfillment: Pursuing this Ph.D. degree in a field I am passionate about is incredibly fulfilling. It has allowed me      to delve deep into challenges, challenge myself intellectually, and make a lasting contribution to advancing knowledge.
     

While obtaining my Ph.D. requires dedication and hard work, the rewards are substantial in terms of personal growth and the positive impact I can have on instructional design and technology.

  2. Specialization: This degree introduced me to curriculum design, educational leadership,      special education, technology integration, and literacy education. This allowed me to focus on an area that aligns with my interests and career goals.
  3. Professional Development: This degree provided opportunities for ongoing professional development, allowing me to stay updated with the latest trends, research, and educational best practices.
  4. Networking:  This degree has allowed me to connect with fellow educators, professors, and professionals in the field. This networking led to valuable collaborations and future career opportunities.

Earning a Bachelor's in Health Science provided me with a diverse set of skills and opportunities in the field of healthcare and wellness. 


  1. Versatile Skill Set: My Bachelor's degree in Health Science helped me with a broad foundation of knowledge in health-related topics, including anatomy, physiology, nutrition, public health, healthcare management, training, and more. 

  

Overall, my Bachelor's degree in Health Science provided me with a foundation for a variety of rewarding and impactful experiences in learning; however, after this degree, I decided to switch to the IDT field of education and training.
